You know those days when you just push things around the place and generally make a mess but achieve nothing? Well today started a bit like that.
Then I told myself off quite harshly! I mean I have events booked - I need stock - and I need inspiration .....
So I turned my attentions to the FABBY sketches of the very talented Becky Fleck (See blog link in links section). Trust me - if ever you need a bit of help getting started then these sketches are a Godsend. OK so quite a lot of the time the cards end up very different from the original sketch you are playing with - but that is half the fun! The sketches in themselves give me a starting point and focus me to actually make something ........
SO what have I achieved I hear you ask.
Well here goes - Sketch 1
And then the second attempt!
Now I am off to attempt to clear down the decks and see if my table is still under the current mess ............. then I may just have another go!

I quit ciggies 11 years ago and am so much better for it. It wasn't easy, they design their products that way, to keep you hooked. The key is in toughing it out, not using any nicotine products, even gum, once the nicotine is out of your bloodstream, the cravings stop. I found some holistic pills at the vitamine store and they actually took my craving away, they had no nicotine. By week 3 I had no desire to smoke, and I was up to a pack a day of Marlboro lights. I applaud you and your sister for your plans to quit.

Why cant i buy cards like this at Tesco?? A bloody good interpretation of the original sketches me thinks. how long does that take?
K. just had a look at her site and she has a message thee saying: "how many of you have booked your mammagram?" Or reminded otheres to?
So i'm guessing there's a card you can send to remind your friends to get on, right? So what would that look like, then? I mean, there are no card maps for one of them. I can suggest one if you need it?

congrats Bex on your new home, It must be such a relief to have a place you love and can relax in. I've been popping by, to check in, but have been very busy lately. Hence the lack of comments on anyone's blog really. I love the texture you have in your cards. Very stylish and solid looking. Keep up the good work! I'm sure we'll be seeing a card gallery with all your wares in New York, in the not too distant future. Awesome work!
