Extreme Crafting - nearly done!

Hiya

OK the challenges deadline was extended until 8pm tonight so I am still busy trying to enter all categories ...........

Have just finished this altered canvass as part of Challenge 8 - thought my eldest sister may like it. It is 12 x 12" using Crate Papers - I did actually cringe cutting them up ............

Also completed Challenge 6 which was to do an altered notebook and post it pad ............

And ooh Challenge 7 - a Christmas card using beads ............. and a handbag charm ........................

And I do not have time to work out what blogger is doing with these pictures - will just hit publish and see where they end up!!

Back later with final entries

Love Bex

hi, just back from our trip and taking a look around blogland. I love all the cards and challenges etc. I wish I'd known about the ribbons you wanted, the US has the most amazing craft shops in the world eg Michaels and even better Joanes, Honestly I could weep when I see all the fabrics and craft things they have. I have to be left there on my own for hours, just to absorb as many ideas as possible. Next time I go I'll let you know and you can give me a shopping list!

Hi Bex

Thought I'd stop by and say 'hi'. Love the cards, really creative.

Take it easy

p.s. I did hear you right on Ballerinagurl's chat a while back that you used to drink in the Coach and Horses in Marlow right? I looked in there on Friday and it looked just as it did in the 80's :)

It is all very impressive, but I can't help feeling that any craft competition is incomplete without a round wherein the entrant has to fashion an entire wardrobe for themselves using card, ribbons and beads.

Hi Bex, I have to confess ths is my first ever visit to your blog (I think), but I'm totally charmed by all these craft things with ribbons and challenges. You are incredibly resourceful! They are really great. The calendar is really smashing and the cards and post it pad...it's wonderful - like having a 'blue peter' blog! Looks like so much fun to do too and I'm sure you'll have no trouble selling them. I'm going to be back to take more looksies..take care!

Wow!

Just what I've always wanted!!

...A nanchucka-equipped post-it pad!!!!
Cute disguise pretending it's a flower's petals!!

I tried disguising my George Forman lean-mean killing machine as a quaint flower-press, but the Rozzas didn't buy it.

Brilliant work here Bex, I have to say my favourite in this bunch is the sparkling snow one. That's a hell of lot of time spent on these pieces of work. Hats off for your perserverance and skill. You're not just a pretty face eh?
