OK so I am trying to get in to this daily blogging lark - and I have no crafty reveals for you today so just thought ........ well what is good today?
Rach and Pete have touched down in good old Blighty safely - Phew.
I have to say that the ONLY downside of my new house / new life is that I am no longer 15 minutes from Rach.
It was so nice to be chatting on the phone and then saying "yeah lets do lunch - on my way in ten" Or as I was working from home I would even pop over for a half hour break and a cuppa.
Now it is kind of an hour and a half at least drive ......... which frankly screws the ad hoc cuppa way of life.
And as a result Rach hasn't even had chance to come and see my new pad - which is WEIRD! She is SO busy that it is so much easier for me to go to them, and also I think all the time I have lived here they have only been in the UK for like 3 weeks?
I hope she has been clever and bought me a gift .............
Or even a gift for my dog which is quite common practice .............
As for will I be at the RAH on Sat - Afraid not. I have plans this end and also Pete and Rach are extremely jetlagged so the last thing they need is family and friends being there and having to be entertained all weekend! So I will be crafting, attending a Charity footie match and perhaps going on a date if I am good! Oh and of course doing the mundane things like housework ...........
Love to all
Bex xxxx

Hola Bex!!
Hey, I missed the comments for the baby cards, they are lovely!!
I'm going to the RAH gig, my flight leaves from Madrid to London on Saturday morning. I'm sure it's going to be a great show, and also it's been a long time since I don't go to London.
Love,

I am glad that you and Rachel have such a close relationship. I have two sisters and a brother and we live in different parts of the country. I remember when I went off to college. My youngest sister and I used to fight like cats and dogs, but when I moved out, she was the one who used to write to me and say she missed me. We got a lot closer as we got older. But now she lives on the West Coast and I live on the East Coast so we only get together two or maybe three times a year. My other sister lives in the South and my brother is in the Mid-west. Emails, phone calls and family get-togethers once or twice a year are all we can do.
And, it sounds like you are close with Sarah as well. That's really great that you all three enjoy spending time with each other.
Crafting seems to be going extremely well. How is your plan for world domination coming along? Rachel kicked ass in the States!

Aw too bad that you live so far from Rachel.
bummer.
You sound very happy and content in your new home though!
I hope she gets to visit you soon.
If you do happen to drop by their house, could you please take a pic of their refrigerator for us?
KIDDING!
Hope you have a hot date this weekend!
(You just might since Del posted your mobile # on my blog!!)
Take care,
Love,
Suexx
Sorry Bex. I'm going to have to cancel the date this weekend. I'm busy plucking nose hair.
Hi Bex, I am sure that when she has refreshed herself she'll come by. They both must be so very tired from everything they are doing. Enjoy the footie match, and maybe your date?!
Yes, I get presents for my dogs usually and not me!!
take care, xx grace
Elena - Have a FANTASTIC time tomorrow! I am sure a fabulous show will be put on as the RAH is such an amzing venue with incredible sound
Sue - would gladly take a Rach fridge pic - but I am afraid it is the same as mine and plain! We tend to use notice boards to put everything on!
Del - Shame I was looking forward to it, BUT I understand about your nose hair problem and am glad you have found the time to address it x
Cathy - Plans for world domination are pretty slow at the moment - I really do need to pay more attention to them, perhaps I will tag on a mini crafting caravn to the back of the Airstream for the European leg...........
Grace - Yes I am sure Rachel will come here - when I actually invite her!!!
Which considering the totally spoilt treatment I get when I go to hers may actually be NEVER....... Besides when she comes to my house I miss out on raiding her wardrobe!!
Have a good weekend all xxx
Love Bex
glad they are back safe and sound, Bex- its always nice to have your loved ones back home safe. Loved your baby cards ! I bet that boy one took blinking ages ! lovely though.
Hey Bex!
I tihnk Delbut's dumped you for me!! We should be meeting up near the Alby, but I don't know how much acquainting time we'll get!! I'm sure we'll have a drink for you!
Chariddy footy match eh?! Are you playing or just watching? I luvs charity myself - particularly when it is crisp, folds very neatly and can be exchanged for goods or services!!
PS - cards are fantastic (as always), and hope your needlehunt is successful! I used to actually enjoy using the machines at work. 3 seconds to stich a turn-up, kerching!
Ben
oooh, raiding wardrobes is always awesome!!!

Awe, Bex....I know how you feel....I live 2 and 1/2 hours from my big sis...it's weird! Before I had kids, I would take long weekends to go relax by her lakeside home....now, never a chance. We only get together for holidays.....I mean to say, EVERY holiday, of course......every Jewish holiday, and Thanksgiving!
My cousin, who is like another sister to me, lives even further away....3 whole hours.....but, we try to get it together as much as possible...it doesn't hurt that she lives on the beach, so it makes it fun for us to visit in the summer!!!
Our children have now grown to be friends, and my daughter informed me that this summer, she is going to stay at my cousins WITHOUT ME! As, she needs "bonding time" without her parental units....
Anyway, I mean to say, enjoy the company of your sister....I know you don't take it for granted, but sisterhood, is so special!!
