New Baby

As yet unamed.

And I LOVE her already - she is SO tiny and nippy and VERY fun to drive. I am quite loving having to hit second and third gear sort of immediately!!!

The beast was an ace drive for playing boy racing - but this little thing has lots of poke and attitude.

MUST remember how tiny she is though cos first attempt at parking she was about 2 foot away from the kerb ..........

Ooh and must dash - as had a bit of a spending spree in Primark today - and along with about 10 Tshirts, 2 work tops and a snuggly hoody, I also got NEW PJ's, and NEW bed socks - and blimey all for £30!!!!! I SO love a bargain spree xxxxx

Ah, i had a new car too this week. I went all the way to ST Albans to get it. The colour is called Tango!. Sounds worse than it is.

BTW, did you get my mail? If you cant help, no worries.

It looks like you have stalled it on a junction, or was it your parking letting you down again?

I have often cried with laughter at the female specie parralell parking. (that's parking between the front and back ends of two cars, girls) In a lot of cases the gap left would require a taxi ride to the kerb side.

I know that sounds sexist but...it is.

BTW. are you having a : name that car cmpetition? Can i play?

Delbut - Thanks for that ............
I have been able to park a Golf for the last 6 years so I should be OK with parking this ........

The problem I clearly have though is driving out of the garage where I bought it from - as I MAY just have been too busy adjusting mirrors and rolled back into the wall ............

YES REALLY

LUCKILY only a tiny scratch that you can hardly see - Still felt like a flippin idiot though!

Yeah you laugh..............
Cos I did

£30? What kind of luxury Primark do you shop at, Bex? That'd have cost 35p in mine.

Adorable, Bex...
I think you should name her Bitsy!
And take it easy there Del, with the girlie driving comments. Anytime you want to have a contest with driving ability and parallel parking or stopping before crushing eggs (like the Brady Bunch episode) I am up for it!

We're not all horrendous drivers ya know! Some of us even get hired to teach Men how to drive manual transmissions.

ROCK ON!

Hi Bex!
Oh that is one cute car!

I think you may have seen me try to parrallel park in London in 1990 Del!
I think I already told this story on your blog Bex...anyway...
Yes, it's hard enough for ME (who happens to be female) to parrallel park...but the one time I TRIED it in London, I side swiped about 10 side view mirrors! I can still hear the "thump thump thump thump" I SWEAR.
I think I gave up and had my husband park that day.
Sad.

Enjoy your new car!

Congrats on your car Bex. If you paint it pink, it could be a big sister to Rachels airstream buggy.

Wish you well in your new car.

Hope all is well

Hi Bex, Congrats on your new baby! A couple of years ago I got a Scion Xa.

Small cars are the way to go with petrol being so expensive. Plus with these little cars one can 'squeeze' into just about any parking space.

Have fun! Ed
